How well does Calzaghe have to beat Jones for you not to discredit him?

Half of the Calzgahe fans are declaring Jones shot; has no chance, etc.

The other half are trying to hype him up so when Jones DOES look shot, they can be like, "Jones was an all-time great, he was coming off three very impressive wins, yada yada."

September 21st is gonna be hilarious.

I understand we're not talking about Prime Roy Jones here but even now, they're incomparable.

No way. Lets forget about Jeff Lacy, but Kessler would beat today's Roy for sure, I think. Even if he didn't, it would then surely be a close fight, and they would absolutely be comparable.

If you think Jones is NOT shot, then well you don't know what you're talking about it. Keep imagining the Jones never took "risks" in his prime and that he would have been KOed back then. Probably makes you feel better about your llove of all British fighters and nothing else.
No gay references? Theres a surprise.

I didnt say you hated Brits. But you've ovbiously got some underlying issues there.

Thats your opinion. You dont know what you're talking about most of the time so why should anybody care?

Imagining? Theres really no need for that. You keep imagining that Jones in his prime was a God who took on all comers and could never have been beaten unless he was completely shot.

I'm not a Calzaghe fan and I think Jones is shot.

Also I think kessler is mad overrated. But he would probably beat Jones now. Jones quit against Tarver remember? He is DONE.

I wouldn't be so sure about Kessler beating Roy FOR SURE. I'd most likely pick Kessler to win based solely on Roy's diminished stamina.

I think if Jones was near unbeatable in his prime, it stands that he is now a good to very good fighter now. However, he's still falling - and growing old with each passing day. I loved how he looked against Hanshaw, not so much against Tito. We'll see what he has left on September 21st.

Hindsight, unfortunately, is the best sight.

Agreed. Basically stamina would be his undoing. In terms of skills, Kessler is pretty overrated compared to a Jones.
