    I picked Taylor by decision.

He is by no means finished. He looked better than ever in the last Pavlik fight, and the first few rounds of the first Pavlik fight.

Part of the problem with his lackluster image is that DiBella chose terribly in matching him up against Ouma and Spinks, assuming that they were smaller guys who Taylor could look impressive against. Meanwhile Taylor has said himself he has had a problem getting motivated unless it's a big fight. I think that, in combination with him getting too comfortable with his big house and black Lamborghini he's seen sporting around town in, and a poor trainer relationship with Manny Steward, were the cause of his downward slide post-Hopkins.

But he's got to work on his stamina. With his skill, if he was throwing 70+ punches a round, he'd be a major force.

As for Taylor/Abraham... I think a lot of people are on AA's jock because of the way he dispatched Miranda. But Miranda, despite his power, is not near the boxer that Taylor is. And AA isn't any more active than Taylor is, meaning he'd have to either outbox him, which I don't see happening... or KO him.

Good post. AA dispatched Miranda, but Miranda already could have been damaged goods by the beating pavlik gave him. A fight against Taylor or Pavlik will show where he truly stands.

Taylor couldn't solve Winky's guard and couldn't handle Pavliks power put em together and you get Abraham KO.

AA would knocked JT's block off. I don't want to see this fight unless it is at 160. We need fighters to fight at their championship weights. Over the weight fights hurt boxing because it could hurt fighters when they try to make their championship weight. Unless AA goes to 168, I don't want to see the fight.

Even though Taylor lost in the rematch to Pavlik, I though he somewhat redeemed himself and looked good.

I like Abraham, he's tough as nails and hits like a mule, but he dosen't throw enough punches, he only fights in spurts.

I think Taylor would win a Decision, Abraham has a punchers chance of course, but Taylor has a pretty good chin and is tough to stop, don't let the Pavlik KO loss fool you.

I think that the odds of this fight happening any time soon is bigger than the odds for the Pillsbury Doughboy to win the Boston marathon.

Anyway. If those two were to square off I got Taylor by decision. AA is a quite sloppy fighter fighting only in flashy bursts so if Taylor can keep him on the end of the jab and outmove him I think he'll win a fairly easy decision over the small-armed Abraham.

Of course conditioning is a huge factor for Taylor. If he doesn't come in at peak condition there's a very real possibility that Arthurs Abrahammer will land at some point after the tenth.

This is what I was calling for... I think little 5'9 AA needs to defeat JT first and then call out PAV once he's done facing Calzaghe. Thats if Calzaghe even beats Jones... But yes I'm about this fight. It should happen. Would be a perfect set up for a PAV vs AA....

Yes I know, I'm prepared for the AA fans to hate... I know they all want to see PAV and AA but hey AA has a mando and PAV's not waiting around he has a BS big money fight with HOP and a possible BIG ASS MONEY FIGHT with CALZAGHE.... is AA a BIG money fight NO????? So you cant hate... IF anything this will build AA up for a huge fight with PAV down the road (late late 09).... and please both sides of the house...

Im going with Artur in this one...by decison...The shell guard that AA has is kind of like Winkys that confused Taylor but add KO power to that and he will give Taylor fits.
Abe has the power to do it, I just don't think he throws enough punches. Taylor will take a decision if they fight. Jermain is bigger, stronger, faster and more skilled in my opinion.
