I think it's a fault of his that he is normally too cautious. He's not willing to **** and waits for the perfect time to unload.

Do you think Miranda gave in a little easy against him though? I don't mean that he was shot in any real way from the Pavlik fight, but a bit of the warrior spirit left him.

Yeah, Miranda is quiet now. He shoulda kept **** talking after he got ko'ed and challenged Pavlik again.
      You know Mayorga would have.

Fans can only point out the truth. Cal and Hop are old, and no amount of "here we go again with the ring worn thing" can take that away. If Pav beats those guys, he will get little to no credit from me. You PAv fans justify the Hop fight now, because your man is fighting him. Man I oughta...lol. Don't get fake with me. You and rounding grace won't ever be able to legitimize those wins as greats win as long as I'm on NSB lol, if PAv beats those 2.
I never said anything about it being a GREAT WIN... I SAID IT WILL BE ONE HELL OF A "PAY DAY" WIN.... and The reason I talked of B-HOP is because if PAV can go 12 rounds with GRANDPA HOP with his MASTER of defense then YES I give PAV the advantage over AA. I think he will walk away from grandpa HOP with a way to beat AA's defense. WHICH is NOTHING even compared to HOPS and if PAV fights JC That's even more experience in the ring. I didn't hype HOP I just think his defense is insane and if PAV can go 12 rounds and win... That's a good win to me, NOT great. BUT a good one.. I'm not hyping anyone.. Believe me dude I want to see PAV and AA fight. I just know it wont happen NOW.

Mayorga is a little more self aware and knows it's all in fun. Miranda was simply a little ignorant and has been humbled.

But I wasn't referring to his talking. I meant that after the first KD from Arthur he seemed to pack it in, whereas against Pavlik he went out on his shield a little more.

I'd go with that. Miranda did say he AA hit way harder than the first time.
Gotta believe the Pavlik beat down had something to do with it.
He may have gotten a little overconfident again after he blew out Banks and then was like wtf just hit me when AA hammered him.

I think Miranda's weight loss and using a nutritionist had something to do with it also. Abraham was not able to show his true power in their first fight because of the jaw. I believe that had he not had the jaw broken, he would've stopped Miranda late in that fight. I knew AA would ko Miranda in the rematch imo because he had better technique. Many people were fooled by that first fight. As far as the rematch, when you eat foods to lose weight rather than food that sticks to your ribs lol, you won't feel normal for a fight. Pav's win over Miranda had absolutely zero to do with why Abraham won or Miranda being damaged goods.

Right on, that was a good win for a AA. He needed that after there first fight. He has heart to fight with a FU jaw. Dude couldn't even close it...

anyway like you stated "He had a better technique". That's what I mean by PAV facing HOP. I think if PAV can walk away with a 12 round win over HOP by surpassing HOPS Technique, he has the advantage. That's what I meant. i wasn't saying just by fighting HOP makes him the best or anything. i was just saying HOPS defense is insane and if PAV can get through it, you better believe he can get threw AA's IMO.

When Arthur swings the abrahammer, it 's always in big, flashy combos. But they are quite wide. Someone with a nice footwork and power to go could make him pay with counters.

I mean before Joe set up the fight with ROY he was PRIME SUPER BEST P4P KING and now its "ring worn" or NOT SO PRIMED JC... crazy how this works.. lol SORRY ALL, (as roy knows best) there will be "NO EXCUSES" come fight night for either fighter, NONE WHAT SO EVER! NOT ONE! Sorry, you all will have to dig deeper, because this "ring worn" bull **** will not work.
Calzaghe's situation is that he looked so good against Lacy and Kessler that we now expect him to look great every time out. After the Hopkins fight, in which he didn't look good, one possible explanation is that he is beginning to slide, and this isn't unreasonable, because he has absolutely lost a bit of speed and reflexes since his younger days. However, I personally don't think he is 'ring worn', I think thats going too far, he's just a little older is all.
