Hopkins does very well on pay per view compared to anyone but Hoya. He actually does better then most. People just like to talk out of there ass. Like you for example....

His numbers depend on the foe. Wright and Tarver both did around 330K. Those are his big A-side efforts. Wow. That's awesome. Doing better than most in this market is not the same as doing well. Also, if Pavlik-Taylor II couldn't crack 300 after a thrilling first fight, how is Hopkins-Pavlik going to do big numbers based on Hops recent dreadful form?

This is good for boxing because I like this fight. That's why. Ok, so not really, but I'm looking foward to it, especially with a good undercard (hopefully)

Btw, Crold, did you ever get my PM? When is Mijares supposed to fight again and against who?

If Pavlik and Calzaghe really are going to hook it up after this, I can live with it. But this fight really doesnt do anybody any good. And really sucks for Arthur Abraham.
I am in full agreement. This is the big fighs everyone wanted. Ring mag titles and ring mag rankings. Once people voiced their opinion on the sanctioning bodies, I saw this coming a mile away. These are the supposed fights we as fans should get because of those so-called bogus sanctioning fees. Fighters don't pay them, pocket that money, and fight old men, and inferior comp. I guess you are one of the few PAv fans who are being honest about this crap.
