6 different weight classes - oooh!! By robbing Felix Sturm for the WBO belt? Sure, he was the REAL middleweight champ! And Oscar really beat him too!

Oh and that WBO belt he picked up at lightweight! How could I forget that?

Oh, and the way he beat Tszyu at 140! Ooops...

And we wanna talk about a "green" Hopkins? I'll tell you what, I'll pick a green Hopkins over ANY Felix Sturm ANY day, ok?
Will you pick a green Hopkins and a weight drained Toney over a prime Mayweather and Quartey or still very effective Whitaker?

You seem to want to go to any lengths to discredit DLH, but the question asks "who fought the better fighters?" And the answer to that one is pretty simple. Hell the Hopkins that DLH fought was better than the Hopkins Roy fought.

Depends. Do I win those fights or do I lose?

It is obvious. Oscar. What's your argument again?

roy and bernard both had about 22 pro fights when they fought... roy beat him SOUNDLY.... 5 fights later, bernard became the IBF MW champion, and it stayed like that for 10 years....

          sure.... he was too GREEN!

Well I'm pretty sure Oscar won the Quartey and Whitaker fights, though they were both extremely close.

Of course, you don't know that because you see a bunch of decent names on boxrec and go, "Oh ****! He fought everyone!" Which is partly true.

However, he picked up the WBO title at 130 (one of his many "world titles") so if he could do that, I'm sure he coulda fought...umm...the better fighters in the division?

He didn't fight the best at 135 either, like it or not.

              And not at 140 either.

              And not at 154 either.

He lost to the best at 160.

At 147, he arguably lost to every top fighter he fought. Of course, you could say he won a couple too.

We're done here. Unless you have a bunch more lies you wanna pass off as facts. Bryant Brannon. Man, shut up.
Your pissing off facts. De La Hoya fought all of 7 or 8 fights at super featherweight. Of course he didnt fight the best, all of these fights coming in his first 15 or so fights. Who would have?

I know right? He was so green, he was the #1 contender and Roy was #2. He was so green, he didn't lose again for 12 years!

Sounds great. Difference being Bernard was coming out of prison, Roy was an olympian with an extensive amateur background. See the difference?

NO. Because 5 fights later he was the MW champion for the next 10 years.

Actually Bernard had nearly 100 amateur fights BEFORE going to prison (or possibly after?) and was also the IBF #1 ranked contender. With good reason as he won the belt a year later.
