But some of those lower weight class fights aren't being televised anyway and sometimes those championship fights regardless of which weight class aren't worth televising.

I mean those weight classes that are separated by 3 or 4 pounds can be taken away. 105, 108, 112, 115, 118, 122, 126, I think at least 1 or 2 of these weight divisions can be removed.

No need for cruiserweights or super and junior anything. If you're a middleweight you're a middleweight fighting at 160. Period. That's the way it should work.
              an old school guy.

              you're my new best friend.

              cruiser is garbage.

if you can't cut to 175 be a heavy.

200 lb. men are strong enough to compete with anyone.

it's not fair......but you're a HEAVYWEIGHT dammit! act like one. you should fear no guy no matter how much bigger they are.

                that's what is ruining boxing......but that's a different topic.

all i got to say is there was a time when a fight between #4 guy and #9 guy meant something.

it was guys positioning themselves for the title shot.

now? i'm #9 in the ibf 154......wait this #1 guy in the wbo 147 is beatable......i'll fight him and get a title shot at the wbo 147 belt instead.

I'd agree if you are going to remove divisions then you start with the little guys. Strawweights are silly. Any man under 108 lbs is almost a child. But those few pounds in the lower weight classes mean more than you might think. One example is Jorge Arce who isn't nearly as effective at 115 as he was at 112.

do you think less divisions would be cutting some boxers short.
like the ones having problems making lower weight so they go up,now two divisions. harder on the little big men.

but is it our job as LORD OF THE WEIGHT CLASSES to make sure it's fair for certain fighters?

yes hatton would suck balls if he had to fight at 147 but if you were really that good 7 lbs. shouldn't make a difference......
