I think Arce was past his best when he moved up to 115 but I understand your point.

like the ones having problems making lower weight so they go up,now two divisions. harder on the little big men.
it's is but it's not our problem.

why do we have to have 9 more weight classes just because some guy is unfortunate enough to be too big to be 135 but too small to be 147?

i'm 200 lbs. and only 5'8 should there be 2 cruiserweight divisions for me?

a 6 foot and over cruiserweight division and 5 foot 11 and under cruiserweight division?

will boxers take off their shoes and slouch now for measurements?

We have 17 weight divisions at the moment and it's not needed.

        How it should be:

        Heavyweight
        Light Heavyweight - 175 lbs.
        Middleweight - 160 lbs.
        Welterweight - 147 lbs.
        Lightweight - 135 lbs.
        Featherweight - 126 lbs.
        Bantamweight - 118 lbs.
        Flyweight - 112 lbs.

It'll make each division deeper and lessens boxers going up or down in weight to chase bogus ABC titles.

        newbie.

don't you know thats how it used to be, lol!~

pacquiao fighting at lightweight soon jr. welterweight shows how much he's starved himself for an advantage.

          ummm...... mr. ferocity.

please read my reply to the guy who agreed with me and who i called "old school" for believing the same way i do.

this is not one of my dumb , i'm bored , joke threads.

i really want only these divisions in boxing and feel strongly about it. that's why i make this thread almost every 3-4 months.

please contribute more than foolish , misplaced insults to this thread. it took me a long time making it.

          thank you.

SIDE NOTE: Is ULISSES SOLIS trained by Roger Mayweather? Just asking. I don't know anything. I'm a NEWBIE.

Cruiserweight is practically worthless since most of its best fighters just use it as a stepping stone before heavyweight, minimumweight and strawweight are ******ed also, i dare you to name good minimumweight champs not named ivan calderon

ivan calderon would be good up to flyweight......maybe even bantam.

skills always make up for size.

now if the skills are equal and you're going up against someone bigger? well you're screwed......

I think weigh in's right before the fight would help also, along with eliminating weight classes AND belts.... **** all this "INTERIM" and "RING" belts along with the WBO & IBF...... There should be 2 belts at the most! and unifications would actually mean something. Nate campbell going down in history for having 3 belts at once seems kind of absurd!!!! Being he only beat 1 champ and he wasn't all that great. I hate how org's have mandatories against prospects yet don't rank other org's champions. So technically these other champs don't exist until the relinquish their belts....WTF. Or maybe if an outside company with no interests in boxing were to do a "UNIVERSAL RANKING SYSTEM" that all org's should follow, it would cut back on paying off org's for rankings.
