Prime Lennox would KO Wlad, but not now. Im glad he is smart enough to stay retired and let his career speak for itself.

I agree with your outlook, Scott. With that said, prime Lewis KO's Klitschko. In fact, the punches Lewis hit Vitali with would have stopped Wlad.he chin is one major difference between the brothers. For those making the Foreman comparison there are two major differences: It took Foreman years to get to the elite level during his comeback. Also, Foreman retired in his prime. Lennox didn't.

I definitely agree Joseph, which is why I specified 2008. Of all the recent former heavyweight champions, I think Lewis is the very worst matchup for Klitschko. But no way does he retain those reflexes in his 40's after five years of living the good life.

Lewis is ALWAYS looking for an excuse to get into, and stay in the limelight. He has a habit of backing into it, in the most immodest way. I think the reason for his fairy-tale comments above was the fact that at the Klitschko fight, none of the commentators licked his rear end as they usually do-about how good he was, and how the present crop compare to him etc. It was all about Klitschko.

Has anyone noticed how Wladimir Klitschko has graduated from being a super-skilled,multi-talented boxer, fast moving, to being, (suddenly-by courtesy of the commentators in this fight) mechanical, robotic, stiff, etc. THIS was exactly how they used to refer to his brother Vitaly. Now they speak of Vitaly as " a tiger" "relentless" "heavy puncher", "fast", "destructive" etc. It's true he is (or was) ALL of those things, even whilst he was being called robotic, and as Larry Merchant said, "moving like a piece of construction machinery"...

It's strange how a few clacking mouthed comentators can change one's perceptions and opinions.

Lewis never had the talent of Klitschko, but was more ruthles, and had a well selected array of fouls that he could-and often did- get away with.

None of the article would have seen the light of day, if one single itty-bitty analyst had made the usual adulatory comment to Lewis, bringing that "half-moon" self-satisfied smile to his peanut-like visage.

He would get (2) brutal beatings. Vitali would knock him out too with mind control if they were in the same room ever again. LOL.

Lennox Lewis should stay retired. He has absolutely noting to prove to anyone.

He is one of the greatest Heavyweight champions of all-time.

              Amen.

Lewis has never tried to stay in the limelight and his life is very private. Your comment is ridiculous. He expressed an opinion and nothing more than that should be read into it.

My comment was not ridiculous, it was YOUR comment which was shallow and unthinking. Obviously you have seen little of Lewis as both a fighter, and a commentator, where the colleague commentators grease him up one side and down the other, compating what they see in the ring to the "Great" Lennox..... whilst he's smiling away and lapping it all up like a cat with cream......AND of course, agreeing with them.

I was not talking of Lewis' private life, What do i know of his private life?? I don't give a damn about his private life, nor the private lives of thousands of other boxers who are just as "private" as Lewis.

My comments were based PURELY on his public appearances and utterances.

The "limelight" I mentioned, is B-O-X-I-N-G W-O-R-L-D L-I-M-E-L-I-G-H-T. This should be so obvious that it should not need to be spelled out.

I don't see why I shuld have to educate you, so unless you have something concrete and thought-provoking to say, please make us happy by your silence.
