forget thompson. if old , not in the best shape ever , past prime part time boxer corrie sanders could do it to wlad , why not the old , past prime version of lennox?

Name all the fighters in the history of the sport that have come out of retirement after taking 5 years off and win a title in their first fight back?

People blame the weight gain and loss for Roy Jones losses to Antonio Tarver and Glen Johnson. His reflexes weren't the same because at 35 his couldn't handle those changes. His punch output went down, and for the first time in his carreer his chin was made of crystal. There is no way an almost 43 year old Lennox Lewis is going to comeback after more than 5 years of inactivity, drop more weight than Wlad had to and be effective again. It defies common sense. Even when Foreman came back at what, 38, he had to build himself back up to a world class level, and the differences in his reflexes we noticably different from his first go round. Lewis would have a punchers chance only, and that would probably be for only a round or so.

Of course. But if you think Lewis could KO Wlad than you also have to recognize that Wlad could KO Lewis. Couple that with the fact that Wlad has all the tools to take a decision than Lewis's chances seem pretty slim.

Lewis should stay retired what does he need to prove?? Come back and lose to Wladimir, what’s the point in that, he was past his prime when he was fighting against Vitali.

As much as I used to hate Lennox back in the day, I found respect for him considering he had no choice but to fight the guys that were available when the division was taking a downward spiral. he did beat guys like Holyfield, Tyson, Rahman, and most believe Rid**** Bowe ducked him.

I'd like to see him make a comeback against Klitscko. That would be ill.

Lennox always does this ****. Teases us with a comeback! Its almost an annual thing. He very noticably winked to the camera when asked if he'd be coming back. I dont see it happening though so I wouldnt get excited.

He would have a very low punch output, and he'd realize early in the fight that his body is completely drained. After 3-4 rounds of Wladimir batting Lewis' jab, he'd be spent, and Wlad would get comfortable. Maybe not a KO, but Klitschko wins it easy in 2008.

When he was active? Not even close: Lewis KO's him.
