Roy Jones Jr: "I Will Beat Joe Calzaghe in New York"

It's sad that Jones is still fighting today. He should have just went out on top after the first Tarver fight. He had nothing to prove really in the rematch, the money was just good and now he's stuck having to prove himself when he doesn't have to.
I'm positive Jones never saw this happening to him when he was younger.

NOW saying that, Joe Calzaghe has little to NO KO power. Jones i'm sure knows that. Will he be scared of someone that cant harm his glass chin? No... So I think Jones will be aggressive and throw a lot of punches because he knows nothing POWERFUL will come in return, just a lot of "pitty pate punches" that are points towards winning the round. I think the Cal fans are catching on and realizing this and are nervous of Jones coming in there and being really aggressive and countering anytime Joe attempts to flurry. I don't think we will see Jones of the 90's but we will see a Jones that can take Joe's best punch and not be afraid of being KO'ed.... Like he was in Tarver 3... Jones was just happy to go all 12 for once... RJJ confidence is probably pretty high. I think he knows what he must do and knows he can do it.
I think Roy Jones jr lost motivation, and looks at Joe Calzaghe as redemption. I think wants this fight, just as Tarver (the one hit wonder) wanted him. Every man has his day and September 20th is his. His whole career will pretty much come down to this fight. He sees a Joe Calzaghe that no one has beat, he sees a Joe Calzaghe that has just beat Bernard Hopkins who just beat Tarver. This is Roy's moment to prove greatness, this is behind the scenes of Roy Jones Jr in the making of G.O.A.T. When its all said and done he will make a JOE CALZAGHE REMIX to "YA'LL MUSTA FORGOT"!!!
This of course will all depend on which Roy comes to the fight. We know how Joe will come, prepared and ready to go all 12 rounds throwing many combinations non stop to JUST win a 12 UD or Split. If a Highly motivated Jones that can move and counter all night comes we will have us a fight. If the Jones that shows us a shell of his former self comes to the fight, than we have a 12 round UD in the bag for Joe. IMO I don't think Calzaghe is expecting to much from Jones and I believe we will see a shocked Joe on the night of September 20th 2008. I think Joe Calzaghe is going to bring out the best in Roy Jones Jr. We are surely in for a treat if that is the case.
I think the Joe fans are realizing this and are nervous of a motivated jones coming to take the best of Joe's punches and counter all night without having any doubts of being KO'ed. I think that is his weakness. With Joe, there is nothing to be afraid of.....According to Peter Manfredo who laughed at his "pitty pat punches", kessler 12 UD not KO'ed, Hop who got hit all of 250 times and laughed at him when he got the victory. I mean an OLD MAN laughing at your punches???? lol
