The best in his era refused to fight him.

thats bull****, joe knows that it's bull**** too.

it will be a good fight, but bernard hopkins gave joe all he could handle without hurting him. bhop presented the trickiest **** joe has ever had to deal with- no questions asked.

Well Bernard Hopkins was going to get a considerable sum of money, I don't know the specifics of any negotiations with Jones and Sven Ottke refused to fight Joe anywhere other than Germany. All three fought nobodies.

Probably because that would have involved moving to light heavyweight which he obviously didn't want to do at that stage.

Roy lost the assets that allowed him to do what he did and he never needed to learn how to adjust or change as he was just that good. Now he is pretty much just one-punching his way through fights agaisnt nobodys or other has-beens. I can't think of a top LHW at the moment that he would beat.
