He's too fat to fight now. Plus, he's a criminal. Isn't he still in prison?

He was an awesome fighter, not talked about enough on these forums. Watched some of his fights recently and he had mad skills. He's hardly a criminal in the true sense, he was done for dangerous driving and served a few months. Said he'd come back but will see, doubtful.

He's out of prison and still fat.

An amazing talent in his prime. Shame his career wasn't handled better.

I remember Kevin Kelley putting him on the deck, then Barrera exposed his flaws for the world to see.

Dude was exposed in his prime, entertainer or not. I think he actually got worse instead of better, as he progressed through his prime.

I think more highly of him than many other boxing fans. He was entertaining as hell with nhis combonation of speed, power and his unorthadox style. His career seemed to go down hill after firing Brendon Ingle. I don't think his style even at its best was going to trump the Barrera's, Marquez's and Morales' with their excellent fundamentals and skill. But I would have like to see him against Pacquiao, who's style is a little more daring. I think it could have been a close fight with both guys checking the others chin. I'll balk at making a prediction about who would hav won.

As far as him ever coming back, I cant see it. To much time away dulls the reflexes, which outside of his power was his biggest attribute in my opinion.
