It stacks up well IMO to most time frames. I think once a division gets a couple big names and gets that spotlight then all the fighters within 10 LBS jump at the chance to be a part of the glory/money. Kind of like what's happening at Lightweight right now. It was already a big division and then Pac showed up and so came Marquez and Guzman. Now it's ridiculous. Divisions get momentum then they just blow up. Kinda the way Junior middleweight can't get any traction and pretty much serves a graveyard for guys who couldn't fit into either of the stellar divisions.Comment

I was trying to be sarcastic but it didn't come off that way.. but it wouldn't be so crazy if he grabbed a strap. He could let a guy like Mora **** away on his face all day until Mora got winded then he could start ****in him back.Comment

A loss has never stopped great matchups from being made before. In actuality, too much emphasis is put on losses. Rather than looking at the circumstances surrounding a loss, i.e. a close fight which could have went either way generally speaking, people just automatically look at the "L" and disregard anything else.
Perspective people. Was Margarito knocked the **** out by Williams, or did he appear to just start a bit late? I'm not making excuses, because I saw Williams win by a round myself, but lets not act like Paul kicked his ass from ring post to ring post for 12 rounds. Williams deserved the win but took more punishment than in any other fight up to that point.
Perspective people. Quintana beats Williams and all of a sudden, Paul is just a hype job and a bum. Fast forward to the rematch and what happens? Quintana is just a bum.
Losses happen. It happens when you fight quality opposition, sometimes by the slimmest of margins.Comment

yes. whats ****** about people thinking that is that there are 20x more people propping up cotto and pac and comparing them to mayweather for the primary reason of hating, it goes both ways, the idea that this factors into this fight with margarito is ****** since margarito actually has a great chance at winning.Comment
