He strung up a list of victories against terribly outmatched opposition despite struggling severely a couple of times (Corley/Torres). I mean he's fighting guys like Branco, Pinto, N'dou, Urkal, Bailey, Gomez and a host of others like that. I don't see how he's the "man" when he hasn't truly beaten anyone who is recognized as a top welterweight. And there was nothing impressive about the way he fought against Mosley, lol.

corley won 1 round pinto was undefeated and gomez had never been kd or knocked out even thogh he has fought middleweights and super middleweights.

he was very impressive in the mosely fight he won most of the early rounds and cruised through the latter rounds,why didn't mosely ***** and hopkins said that he thought cotto won

Clotteys raw power? All he has in his favour is a good chin. Zab has more power, speed, experience etc. than Clottey which will make it easier for him to beat him to a KO in round 3.

If Judah can fight all 12 rounds then he wins with relative ease. If he can fight 10 quality rounds I still think he has it in the bag.

I'm not gonna **** on Margs work b/c he's got a lot of defenses and has had a lot of fights at WW. But its not saying much when your most known for in recent years for beating a chump(cintron) twice. Beating Cintron the second time did not make the domination more impressive. It would have been had Cintron racked up some big names between their two fights but unfortunately he did not.

I agree. I think speed alone is enough to beat Clottey who will just keep plodding forward. Zab can eiether get an easy UD against this bum or KO his ass. Clottey is wide open for an uppercut. Should be a good fight though. And it will allow Zab to get a fight with Cotto Marg winner.Now pauls likely ****in off to 154.

A lot of Margarito fans are really running at the mouth, and I'm not saying they shouldn't. This is a forum and they have every right to share their opinions and support their fighter but.. All these threads and talk of Margarito destroying Cotto with ease and inside of 5 rounds sounds more like insecurity rearing it's ugly head. The Cotto fans like the Marg fans are obviously confident that their fighter is going to win but you don't see them going on and on about invincibility and how the fight is going to be a cake walk. Any objective boxing fan realizes this is going to be a tough fight for both men and very likely a war of attrition. I hope this post doesn't sound like I'm talking trash to the Margarito fans b/c that's not the purpose but.. Lets get serious. This is going to be a tough close and hard fought fight for whoever wins. Anyone else have any objective opinions in anticipation of the fight?

Yeah, I like Cintron, I think hes a good guy. But even I will admit he was untested and still has not proved that he is a top 10 WW. He folded against Tony twice so he has some real proving to do if he wants to show that he ever was in the run.

Margarito's most notable fights at WW are losing to Paul Williams, Beating Clottey and beating Cintron twice.. and I don't think anyone can argue that Cintron is mostly garbage.

cintron and vivian harris remind me of eachother they are both very skilled and have good punching power but they are ****** and mentally weak
