There's a lot of Cotto Bashing right now!

A lot of Margarito fans are really running at the mouth, and I'm not saying they shouldn't. This is a forum and they have every right to share their opinions and support their fighter but.. All these threads and talk of Margarito destroying Cotto with ease and inside of 5 rounds sounds more like insecurity rearing it's ugly head. The Cotto fans like the Marg fans are obviously confident that their fighter is going to win but you don't see them going on and on about invincibility and how the fight is going to be a cake walk. Any objective boxing fan realizes this is going to be a tough fight for both men and very likely a war of attrition. I hope this post doesn't sound like I'm talking trash to the Margarito fans b/c that's not the purpose but.. Lets get serious. This is going to be a tough close and hard fought fight for whoever wins. Anyone else have any objective opinions in anticipation of the fight?

Also, Mayweather's retiring probably caught a bunch of his fans somewhat off guard. Its hard to cheer for a guy who's retired so they need someone to jump on.

Why so much hate for the guy?

He isn't a prick or anything.

It can be argued that he's overrated.

But the other side of that field has just as strong of an arguement.

If he was outspoken like Miranda I would understand it but.. There's a reason people made the nickname Cottocop. He's not very outspoken and he delivers.
