If they fought 5-10 years ago I don't think the fight would be all that much different since both would be much better.
Wow, if you think Roy looked really good against Tito I suggest you go back and watch Jones-Hall, Jones-R.Johnson, Jones-Brannon, Jones-Hill, Jones-Woods, Jones-Telesco, Jones-Griffin II. It will deadset blow your mind.

Also, you are a complete disgrace. Your sig and the last comment of your post makes you the least credible individual on this entire board (perhaps with the exception of the fine individual that contributed the quote that can now be viewed in my sig).

You are talking about Trinidad. A guy that was above his weight class, was also shot, had been out box badly in his last fight and was coming back from a two year lay off. Does this prove that Jones is still a dominate fighter? Or does it means that he is taking the easy root to a big pay day against Calzaghe? Calzaghe is still in his prime, is currently the undisputed super middleweight champion and is still beating young champions like Kessler, Lacy ect. You are making it seem that Calzaghe is as over the hill as Jones and the fight is still an even fight, which is not at all the case.

I am hating on his fans, not Joe. I have no problem with Joe he is an extremely good fighter. I have a problem with the majority of his fans who are not boxing fans, they are purely bandwagoners who will drop off the sport when Joe hangs them up. They come on here with their ridiculous arguments and try to debate against people that actually follow the sport. It is annoying.

I've seen all of Jones fights and while he may have lost some speed and reflexes he still has fast hands and has not lost his power.

Your credibility is also lacking since you're a biased/bigoted wanker and nut-hugger.

Calzaghe is way past his best and the fact that he can still beat top fighters with diminishing speed and power and fragile hands proves how great JC is and was.

The Calzaghe/Jones fight will show who's more past their best. If Jones looks shot in the fight I will be the first to admit it, but if Jones looks good JC should get credit for the win which many here refuse to do no matter who JC beats.

Joe will beat Roy, but Roy won't look good. He hasn't looked good since Ruiz.

Calzaghe is much better than he was when he was in his prime. The younger version of Calzaghe relied more on his power, which is why he wouldn't have beaten Hopkins in his prime becuase that would make him more easier to figure him out. He is a much slicker southpaw now, a better outside boxer, throws more punches and gives more angles. He is still very much in his prime and hasn't shown me anything that proves that he isn't.
