Pacman right now, but I might change my mind depending on how well Pavlik handles AA.

2501 wow that a very good question and is not Mayweather/his fans related!!! lol

I would go with pacman at the moment, His more complete than Pavlik for now.

Both fighters punch well with both hands. Pavlik is the prototype, technical puncher. He uses a good jab and throws effective power shots behind that jab. Kelly and Wlad K actually remind me of each other a bit, it's just that Wladimir is a better athlete. both guys love to use that left hook, right cross combination and both use it well. Pavlik is a very good body puncher when he throws to the body. Pacquiao has stepped up his body attack in the last 3-4 years as well. Pacquiao and Pavlik have shown that they are patient fighters. Pacquiao isn't some guy that needs to blow you out with his power in order to be successful anymore.
I don't know about this "better athlete" thing. Wlad can't fight inside. He has been exposed 3 times because of not being able to fight inside, so i don't think he is a better athlete. The rest of your post I can pretty much agree with.

But I do agree with Taylor being open for the jab and the right all night.
Taylor couldn't fight inside either. Pac can't fight inside, but he has speed, his feints, and power that is so far getting him by. When he fights Valero, that is when Pac will be exposed when he has to fight Valero along the ropes. lol I had to get a shot in.

Pavlik has faced an aggressive fighter before, Pac faced Morales who fought aggressive, but not inside against PAc. Morales had busy hands and a high connect/work rate, but really didn't fight Pac on the inside the whole fight. Both Pac and Morales fought a counter punchers slugfest fight in that first fight. Counterpunchers slugfest fight??? lol. Pac is a very aggressive fighter, but he has never had to stand still, and give and take in a fight. That isn't a negative. It's just never happened round after round where I saw Pac in that type of fight.

Pavlik needs to use the ring more often.

you just negated your own premise by saying pac had speed and feints. so why would pac fight continuously inside when he has his footwork and speed? surely you know by now that ppl who went toe-to-toe w/ pac fell down like flies.

ppl who mostly fight inside is a RESULT of them lacking what pac and some other fleetfooted fighters have, it's rarely a choice. it's called utilizing well what you have and can do.

They excel at punching power. Pac is quick on the feet as well as with his hands. Pavlik can hit you from his corner and you haven't even got off the stool yet.
