well in boxing is not like footy you may fight a person only once you your whole career.

I think it pretty hard to say even the prime Roy Jones could lose to Tarver but it will be more competitive than the 3rd fight

Yeah, hes probably figured out Tarvers southpaw style by now.. for Tarver though, he has to work out a totally different Roy now.. its gonna be hard and all the disadvantages will be stacked on Tarver.

you forgot to mention tarver nearly knocked roy out again in the 11th,

roy wouldnt beat tarver if they fought again,

        ill make a poll

Roy did have his flahes of the old Roy in the third fight.. He was just too cautious and didnt take any risks in the 3rd fight. lol Tarver almost knocked out roy? he almost fell out the ring himself after landing the punch!

Trust me if they fought, Roy has alot more to offer now than 4 years ago, and would win by decision.

Yeah Prime roy could lose to Tarver. But at the same time, Prime Roy could have lost to Ruiz etc. I just think that Tarver wouldn't be good enough to beat Prime Roy.

these stuff is hard to tell intell you put them together.

even fighters who are going to fight now you cant really tell if he is going to win or not.

It all depends on the game plan and how the fight is going to go on.

Yeah, The night of the fight is nothing. What matters is the Training.

Tarver is a great Talker and quite funny he reminds me of Rid**** Bowe he was a good funny guy aswell and had a good personality
I think he is hated because he beat Roy, who has this superman reputation. I think lots of people don't want to credit Tarver because it is easier to believe that superman was destroyed by a lucky bum rather than beaten fair and square by the better boxer on the night.

Training takes the major part of the win but it not the only thing.

                    Gameplan is also very important.

People say style makes fight guess what fighters change there style from one fight to another. each opponent is treated differently.

So you gotta see what is you pros and use it effectively against the other fighter. For some fighters they got speed and power but dont are not effective with it, There are many fighters who overall level of skills and fitness is better then his opponent but end up losing fight just because he doesnt know how to use his advantage.

yeah i agree shame really cause Tarver seems like a nice guy and good fighter to boot i think he would have always given Jones trouble TBH wether he would of beat Jones in his prime i doubt it but he would have given him an uncomfortable fight regardless
