the woods fight wasnt his best performance but he won easily and was never troubled,

roy did nothing in the third fight, if anything roy is alot worse now, he may have changed his defence but he would get takin out by many of the light heavyweights,

you forgot to mention tarver nearly knocked roy out again in the 11th,

roy wouldnt beat tarver if they fought again,

      ill make a poll

Problem with the Woods fight is that Woods did nothing all night.

As i said, Prime For Prime, Roy takes him apart..

I really don't know what the hell was wrong with Woods that night. I thought he might win because he was the younger guy, but he just walked into Tarvers punchs all night basically.

I dont think it would be that easily

First Tarver footwork is underrated abit and he got abit of speed himself not like Roy but it pretty okay.

He knows how to use his size and jab to keep Jones away.

Roy Jones hit compacted punchs so with Tarver southpaw stance and right hand jab to distance him away from Jones it still pretty hard for him even if he got speed because he will be using it alot. Also Tarver is a counterpuncher so If Roy got passed Tarver right hand he could eat the left

I did say in an earlier post, I think that Tarver would give him problems for a bit. But i feel after a few rounds Roy would take over and win it from there on.

Roy is a better counterpuncher than Tarver. he has more speed. Power i think they both have about the same. tarver gets hurt with bodyshots though, like he did in the first and third fights. and Roy is excellent at bodypunching, especially off the ropes. if they fought again it would be a good fight but Roy would snatch a decision
