Point taken its been a while since i saw that one, he was down before it was stopped. He was stopped on his feet though in a fight he gassed.

It wasnt exactly Thompson's power or anything that stopped him. He gassed up. He punched himself out having never been 5 rounds before. It was something like his 10th pro fight, he had been blowing everyone away and thought he could do the same.

Ross Puritty, I'll give you that, though gassing in rd 11 and gassing in rd 5 are a little different, much like a 250 lb HW is a little different that a small CW. But please don't compare Thompson to Brewster or Sanders in terms of punching power or anything.
