it doesn't matter how joe did against them.
i'm listing top 10 off of paper records and name recognition.
lennox ktfo out of tyson. does that mean tyson wasn't one of his best opponents? certainly one of the biggest name wins.......Comment

Different fights though. Who's to say that wouldn't have ended in a couple of rounds if Brewer had floored Calzaghe?u should base it on there credentials at that point in time if u think Mitchell had the better credentials at that point in time fair enough im just saying that his performance against Joe contradicted that when u view Brewers performance against Joe it leaves a good indication of what each respective fighter had left in the tank
its all about opinion im not saying your wrong im just saying i dont agree
Both were better wins than Hopkins IMO. Mind you, that was a prime Calzaghe back then - one who could outbox but also KO opponents.Comment

i'm going off of who had the better creds/name recognition.
kessler was in his prime and hopkins and eubank was not but...... 20 years from now when a boxing fan looks up joe's record he's gonna say , "WOW! joe beat hopkins and eubank!!!"
the guy is probably not gonna say , "hopkins and chris was past prime. kessler and brewer were better wins."Comment

and thats why this thread was made cause i understand that and wanted to establish who really was his best oponent rather than best name ya digto me it doesn't matter who gave joe a harder time.
i'm going off of who had the better creds/name recognition.

Hopkins was embarrasing running backwards for 12 rounds and faking injuries. He didn't even try to follow up after the flash knock down in R1. He's a spoiler not a fighter. No way is he the best opponent Calzaghe has faced.Comment
