I was kinda thinking the same thing about Jackson, seemed to me if he really wanted to take the fight he could have but he just didn't do anything. I guess those legs kicks really bothered him.Comment

MMA is a growing fad and getting popular...also a lot of their main stream stars are American...including Jackson and Griffin...so the "American Bar Scene" appeal is already there...
vs a 135lb Pacman and Diaz...
that's why Heavyweight boxing has long been considered the flagship...the glamour division of Boxing....especially when American's are at the top or the champion(s)Comment

I admit, he probably wasn't expecting the leg kicks, but the second round when started eating knees and then the 'bomb in the third I think really took a lot out of him. He gassed himself out end of the fourth.Comment

That's because there hasn't been a significant Puerto Rican MMA fighter. Unlike Benitez, Trinidad and now Cotto for boxing. I'm pretty sure, that if a Puerto Rican MMAer becomes a major player in the UFC he'll get a lot of love from the Ricans and turn their attention to the UFC, the way they've supported their beloved boxers.Comment
