that jackson/forrest fight was boring as ****, there were like 3 solid punches in 5 rounds. I dunno how anyone can call that awesome, they barely did anything, hardly any action and very anti-climatic. Every time there is a huge UFC fight that everyone talks about and I end up watching, turns out to be complete ****.

Yeah. Forrest was too freakin conservative in this fight. He knew he couldn't throw leather with Jackson so he attacked with the leg kicks. ****, he could of ended it several times in the second round, but he didn't.

I was kinda thinking the same thing about Jackson, seemed to me if he really wanted to take the fight he could have but he just didn't do anything. I guess those legs kicks really bothered him.

MMA is a growing fad and getting popular...also a lot of their main stream stars are American...including Jackson and Griffin...so the "American Bar Scene" appeal is already there...

vs a 135lb Pacman and Diaz...

that's why Heavyweight boxing has long been considered the flagship...the glamour division of Boxing....especially when American's are at the top or the champion(s)

I admit, he probably wasn't expecting the leg kicks, but the second round when started eating knees and then the 'bomb in the third I think really took a lot out of him. He gassed himself out end of the fourth.

In Puerto Rico, people don't give a **** about the ufc they don't show it anywhere and I bet the ppv numbers are terrible. Sports bars here are all about boxing, the ufc here is basically none existant.

That's because there hasn't been a significant Puerto Rican MMA fighter. Unlike Benitez, Trinidad and now Cotto for boxing. I'm pretty sure, that if a Puerto Rican MMAer becomes a major player in the UFC he'll get a lot of love from the Ricans and turn their attention to the UFC, the way they've supported their beloved boxers.
