When Kelly Pavlik Fights, YOU do not GET THE FEELING THAT THEY WANT TO SEE Kelly Pavlik LOSE...
and more recently When Miguel Cotto Fights, YOU do not GET THE FEELING THAT THEY WANT TO SEE Miguel Cotto LOSE...
and the most obvious in the Mayweather-Hatton Fight,
YOU do not GET THE FEELING THAT THEY WANT TO SEE Hatton LOSE...
But you did get the Feeking that they wanted Mayweather to LOSE...
another example:
In the Jermaine Taylor fight against Kelly Pavlik
all you heard throughout the Fight was, What Jermaine Taylor was going to do wrong, and what he is doing wrong, and vice vesa What Kelly Pavlik was going to do right and what he was doing right....
and Once Again YOU do not GET THE FEELING THAT THEY WANT TO SEE Kelly Pavlik LOSE...
Why Does The Perception exist with these fighters..??
Thats the Problem Mayweather Has with them...
IT SEEMS LIKE THEY WANT TO SEE HIM and certain fighters LOSE...
AND IF YOU ARE A FAIR MINDED COMMENTATOR THAT PERCEPTION SHOULD NOT EXIST...
BUT WITH THE HBO CREW IT DOES...
YOU GET THE FEELING THAT THEY WANT TO SEE MAYWEATHERand certain fighters LOSE...
They are Paid to be FAIR COMMENTATOR'S, not AVID FANS.... SO any bias they have against certain fighters should be set aside as soon as they start calling the fight
the jermain taylor point was true and bias shud b left outside when commentating i had this arguement concerning emmanuel stewart previously

I agree about what he's saying about HBO wanting face first fighters over boxers....but it ain't racial

"Black fighters, we have different styles," Wright said. "But the announcers, they want someone that just walks out there face-first. Boxing is supposed to be an art. Black fighters, we've got style, we've got pizzazz. All they want is for us to just go out there and slug."
If u ask me, Wright's comments are RACIST! He basically said that fighters of other races fight with no style and have a face first/slugging style, while black fighters fight with style and pizzazz.
If anyone's comments are racists, its those of cry baby Winky.

A message from the boxing god....
If you have a brain and it functions at a capacity higher than that of a nine year old you know and understand that the recent comments from Mayweather and Wirght are what? Nothing but the truth boys and girls
Think about it... hmmm..."why would it seem or feel to two proffessional black prize fighters that HBO has shown preferential treatment to white and latino fighters, moreso than black fighters?"
Ready for the answer? Hold on to yourself now....
The answer:
As radical, thought-provoking, and scandalous as some of HBO's shows and documentaries can be.. the company is still a very viable competitor in these "Capitalists States of America." Meaning, at the end of the day all they give a dam about is "money" ....and most companies are in the business of selling something right?
You try selling an arrogant, snot-nosed, punk, who happens to be black(Floyd) to the white people of America....your asking for a lot of doors to be slammed in your face! Or, better yet, try selling the soft-spoken feather fisted Winky Wright to White America(<<
Kelly Pavlik or Auturo Gatti ...(hint hint) is something you can sell in America.
The "Capitalists States of America" is controlled and dominated by white males. White men rule this country....period. Is that by acccident or design I ask you? Nontheless, HBO knows, and you know if you think about it, that marketing a white or latino fighter to a predominately white or latino population is easy.
Let's cut the bull, white people are more likely to embrace a white fighter and latino people are more likely to embrace latino fighters. Call it nationalism, call it pride, whatever. That's the truth, period. So this jealousy, if you will, that we're hearing from Wright and Mayweather is nothing more than the historical one-sidedness that America has always given to black people and HBO is just as guilty. The truth stares people in the face everyday and they refuse to look at it.

I don't agree with this entirely. The people who are paid the most are the ones who bring in the most. Floyd hasn't shown he can carry a show without another bonafied attraction fighting him, and he still gets huge money.
That isn't true. Mayweather made 8 million plus PPV revenue fighting Carlos Baldimer and if you're making big bucks then you are "carrying the show". Delahoya got his biggest pay day fighting Mayweathwer and it's no coincidence he didnt make that money fighting Steve Forbes. It takes two to make a big fight nad that includes Delahoya. Hatton made his biggest payday fighting Mayweather for a reason.

Why are 4 of HBOs 11 featured fighters, Black?

What has Mayweather ever done without DLH or Hatton?
DLH makes big fights on his own accord. Did he make the most with Mayweather? Yes, but tell me the last time DLH had a 24/7 series to go along with one of his fights? Why does Mayweather need a 24/7 to even promote a fight in the first place?
Mayweather needs another big name.
I'd say Hatton does too, but in his country, hes big enough.
DLH doesn't need another big name to make a fight. His name alone carries a PPV.

Lennox & Manny – are African-American-British or in short black (to name a few who work as commentators on some matches)
Or is there any other reason why they are whining? RECOGNITION maybe? I think so….
Ok let’s take a look at some significant fights that they fought before I tell the main reason why they are hungry of recognition.
Floyd vs. Baldomir – I witness an extra ordinary happening on this fight. Paying FANS are leaving their seats just before the fight ends. Worst they are booing the performance of the so called POUND for POUND king (running and not engaging much against an older and limited skill opponent). Is that racist? I don’t think so. Coz I’ve seen some of our black brothers and sisters are disappointed too and booing him.
Winky vs Hopkins – well what can I say. Let’s be honest, sometimes we hate judges decision coz there's always a doubt on how they see the fight. But the so called ‘pizzazz style of boxing’ of Mr. Winky does not get the nod of the judge’s always. Now here’s the problem, he complains about it and according to him its bias. Hey lets not forget Mr. Hopkins is black. Is it racist? Naaaaaahh…
The common denominator of these two whining is that they want recognition. Maybe they feel less appreciated. Both are excellent fighters and gifted with great skill. The problem is since both have unbelievable skill they never implement or imposed their greatness against their opponent. What I mean is that they are overwhelming favorites against some of their opponents but the hype never live up to most fans expectation. In short BORING. Who wants to watch a boring fight? Fans wants them to fight the best available opponent but they reason out of lack of money or star power or what name it….
For Floyd, He talks about his accomplishment from his amateur-pro days. Well we already knew his achievements. The problem is he wants us to recognize it, worship him as great boxer and glorify it. He talks about his greatness and belittle others achievements like Ray Leonard, Ray Robinson, etc…. Sad but true. Now you know why he complains about racism in the sport. He only masks it as racism but the truth is he wants attention & RECOGNITION. Sad little freak. Who are you fooling? Fight the contenders at your class not the grumpiest past their prime cash cows.
Winky demands more (purse) but give less to the FANS. Winky complains of under-appreciated. Hey ask the fans moron. It’s them who pay to watch not HBO. Most fans want action. They don’t want pizzazz style of yours. Blame yourself for being less appreciated. Opppss, Pernell had the same style “the defensive style” but we love it. why? Coz he still impose his offense after defense. In short counter.
FORGIVE MY ENGLISH..
adios.. ique tenga un buen dia...
