If Clottey didn't break both his hands, he wins 10 out of 12 rounds of that fight easily. Margarito sucks regardless of what the Cotto fans try to say.

If Margarito beats Cotto, Tony is better than I thought but still nowhere near an elite fighter and Cotto isn't either if he loses.

The second fight was close controversial, and I thought he lost.
here is some quick review on Shane Mosley resume:

      lost twice to Veron Forest

1st win against Oscar is legit and 2nd is controversial and he admitted he used steroids so doesnt count.

his fight against Estrada and Cruz was not at people expected how he would perform.

      Winky Right Dominated him twice.

KO and TKOed Vargas twice. Vargas was shot since he fought Tito and he had alot of injuries.

Won Luis Collazo, where Collazo had a broken thumb.

Then when he fought Miguel Cotto gave Cotto abit of trouble but nothing special. made Cotto seemed very beatable like Zab Judah did but Zab wasn't consistant with his performance throughout the round.

Exactly in the fashion you just did.
Mosley had beaten an old Vargas twice and then decisioned Collazo.
Is that top 5 welterweight worthy?
Can you deny Mosley was at the end of his career?

Yes, Judah had lost a close, competitive decision to Baldomir, then lost to Floyd by a far wider margin. Following that, he had a no contest against Ruban Galavan.
          Then he fought Miguel Cotto.
How is that NOT carefully selecting your opponent?? 0-2-1 in his last 3 fights!

And Julio was an unproved prospect, as was Quintiana.
He had a pretty good decision win, but Cotto was still the heavy favorite because....Carlos was a nobody...

Get a grip, you keep making excuses for Cotto even though it is blatently obvious that his opposition has been carefully selected to suit his needs to reach the top and look impressive.

And I am not even saiying there is anything WRONG with that, its just that his fanboys and nuthuggers talk all this "Cotto will face anybody talk, he has no fear, etc etc, when its not even close to the truth.

Clottey didn't break either of his hands, so don't make up excuses that are false. Just because he cried about it during the fight doesn't mean it is true. What is true is that Clottey fought again soon after, but Margarito fought with an injured wrist and was layed off longer. He just didn't ***** about it for the benefit of the TV cameras.

                Truth.
And I like Mosley, and think he is a good fighter, but he was selected so Cotto could fight and look good against an excellent name on his resume, regardless of how faded Mosley was. That being said, Cotto eeeked out a decision and looked as though he was beatable.

Cotto will win and to be honest he isn't a kick in the backside away from having a legitimate shout at being the numero uno P4P.

His hand was not broken, but it most certianly was severly injured, seeing as after he landed his uppercut, he lost rounds 5-11 after winning the first 4 on any judges competent scorecards.
Tony came out with the W, and he deserved it, but he was not able to stop Clottey, who had one hand to fight with, and proved to be susceptible to a boxer who can stick and move.
Add that in with his loss to Williams and Santos, and there you have it.

What I really want is for you to tell me that Margarito is not a one dimensional brawler...
