    What do you guys think?

Would he have been as dominant if McClellan would've been around longer?

    I say no.

McClellan would have unified the WBC s/m title with Roy's IBF.

Roy would have had his chin checked against G-Man.
Jones would still have continued to great things...I don't think McClellan could have won a heavyweight title for instance...but his dominance of the last decade of boxing history would have been significantly disturbed across 2 weight classes.

G-Man is one of my all time favorite fighters btw.

Have you seen that video where a reporter visits him at home?

        Yeah.

**** is horrible to see, but moving. Gerald has a massive heart.

I make small donations to the G-Man Trust once in a while too.

One thing about starting a G-Man thread is...you gotta be ready for some troll to come along and start some ****.

          Just a pre-emptive warning.

            Tough to say.

I'm a huge g-man fan myself, and a RJJ vs McClellan fight would have been awesome to see. I lean towards the g-man winning the fight.

but roy was so amazing back then too, its' really impossible to predict.

How do you think it would have altered the last decade of boxing history if McClellan had beat Roy @ super-middleweight?

What would the effect have been on the picture we have now?

Man, so many things would be different! I mean, first thing that comes to my head is that if G-man would have beat Roy, he would have been a pretty big name. Would B-hop have fought McClellan eventially??? Calzaghe obviously wouldn't even be known today and wouldn't have a career at 168.

Yeah, things would surely be different. I don't know who I'd pick in that bout.

I'd pick G-Man if he didn't gass himself out.

                    KO 2.
