Kessler backs up in straight lines and has the defence of a battered wife when he is attacked the hands go up and he goes back in a straight line he clearly cannot deal with southpaws and he does not seem able to adjust, what makes u think Kessler is better than he is ive probably seen more of Kessler than u and i dont think he is as good as u clearly do but i guess being a former Joe victim u have to make him look better than he is cause a 43 year old is Joes best win

    Tarver would outbox him
    My ****in arse. LOL!

Tarver is open to a good snappy jab and right hand. His style would also be similar to the style Mundine adopted against Kessler too (Mundine aint exactly Tarver, i know) but Kessler would CLEARLY UD Tarver. Tarvers lost to worse than Kessler. LOL!

So 3 fights and god knows how many rounds in the gym in 2 years and he had a brain injury that was not picked up on. Jeez, cmon.
With headgear, the fight with Benn was the first time he took shots with full power and intent behind them since the first Jackson fight.

        Edit: And bigger gloves.

Toney is the only boxer that I think may have been a tougher challenge. Sometimes people overestimate how much Toney's weight loss really affected his performance. But even with all things being equal you could still make an argument that Calzaghe was better.

This wasn't a quote from the book but from a Guardian article.

"Coz I just wanna see how fast my dog would kill him, for one, and, for two, my dog's a championship fighter and you don't need no dog scratched up and bit up by no dog, by no accident. This is like sparrin' for my dog, this is like my dog need to taste blood every day. My dog need to kill somethin' every day, Stan. Just like a fighter need to spar every day, he don't need nobody bustin' him up when he got a big fight comin' up. He just need to bust somethin' up hisself. Right?"'
