I have two ways of thinking about this. 1. Wlad-Haye/Wlad-Peter with the potential action may be able to do it. or 2. America assumes the heavyweight division is garbage from what they hear and dont give this a chance so it does not go over 500k

Wlad vs Haye. I don't see any other fight getting over 500k except that fight.

Vitali-Williams did under 100,000 buys and was a major disappointment. I don't see a heavyweight PPV that could do anywhere near that number because there are no Americans that can draw. There has never been a successful heavyweight PPV without an American fighter. Wladimir vs Haye is worthless in the US market.

Indeed, I think Wlad/Haye can be the biggest fight in Europe since Calzaghe/Kessler though.
However in america it wont sell much. When it comes to sporting events americans buy american.

We gotta get Haye to fight here in the states. He gets a nice knockout or 2 mixed with great action, what is there not to like? Wlad is already establishing himself with the American people.

Only thing that would worry me is if America wants to see a Brit vs an Eastern European

                  1. Definite for over 500,000 buys

                  2. Not in America

                  3. Maybe if they added some putang pie in the mix

that's not how bob arum marketed him in the beginning of his career. Technically oscar is american, mexican american. but just like any americanized mexican, promoters business wise, and fighter himself, never loose the heritage and ethnicity angle.

what you say is partially true, and i know that you're a fan of wlad's. but because wladimir cant draw large audience that logic doesnt apply to all fighters

a lot of boxers in lower weight classes do pretty good numbers.
