Maybe if Hatton fighting on the inside didn't include holding the opponent with one arm and swinging with the other he would have been able to fight on the inside. The fact if Hatton's fight is against the rule.

I was worried that something like this would happen, people using this issue to support Hatton's case. Hatton got his ass whooped by the better fighter no excuses.

If you have two guys with a disparity in reach and you don't let the shorter guy get close then you're having an impact on the fight. If both fighters are using illegal tactics but you only warn one of them you're having an impact on the fight. If you're deducting points from a one guy for hitting the back of the head but ignoring that same transgression from the other it has an influence.

In a football match one forward tackles the goalkeeper allowing the other forward to score. Hey, the tackler didn't kick the ball so he had no impact on the goal, right?
Mayweather was beating Hatton on the inside as well as the outside. Hatton attempted to hit Mayeather in the back of the head while Floyd tried no such thing. The ref didn't knock Hatton out.Floyd smothered Hatton and didn't allow him to throw. The only thing the ref could of done is separate them as neither of them could throw any punches.

Cry me a ****ing river. How much more are you going to go on about this?

The problem that Hatton fans have with Cortez is that he didn't let him fight on the inside and broke the two up literally every two seconds...and then for the Hopkins fight he let Bernard tie Calzaghe up and waste time during the whole fight.

At least last night finally proves once and for all that Cortez has lost it.

Cortez may not have robbed Hatton but he did rob Mayweather of an uncontroversial victory.
it will always be controversial because of Hatton's tactics.

People should stop crying over the hatton lost, He fought on the inside but smother his own work by cling, hugging and holding.

last night soto was the house fighter and cortez went by the rules, He didnt favour the NO name fighter he just went by the Rules, This is just another Excuse by the Hatton fans to claim how indept Cortez is when in fact he was doing the right thing.

Watch the whole fight not the first two rounds he allowed plenty of in fighting and Hatton couldn't do anything on the ropes or in the center of the ring.If you think Ricky could ever beat Mayweather you need to watch more boxing

I never said Hatton could beat Mayweather. Floyd outclassed the Hitman, no doubt.

I'm just saying Cortez is a bum!

Don't bother. Hatton fans are pathetic. Let them keep circle jerking complaints to themselves. No one cares.

Wow, generalising millions of a boxers fans all at once. Well done.

I doubt anyone cares what insults you have to throw around either, but keep it up if that's what you like to do.

I'm sorry that hurt. It's obviously not intended at every single Hatton fan. Just most of the whiners and excuse makers on this board.

They way a lot of them have acted before and after the PBF fight was hypocritical, pathetic, two-faced, and at best like crybabies.
