really after reading it, i think it'll change some perspectives

Diaz comes back from a 1st round knock down, to basically outwork and narrowly beat a faded fighter with 53 pro fights, who was only going up to lightweight to try and be the only Mexican to win a world title in 4 weight classes.
    Agreed.

But half of the posters on here think boxrec and clips from youtube is all they need to see. And then they fall into the hype after viewing a few weigh-in pictures.

Hell, I've been suckered a few times from this. But Diaz was one of the worst champs in the sport. Let's get a grip and act like we know boxing.

and that's the thing, all the negative stuff people can throw at D Diaz about him being a weak paper champ

it's all clear as day factual evidence, which is very hard to argue against

like Diaz starting his career at 140 and moving down to Lightweight, after getting kayo'd by Kendall Holt

heck you listed boxrec, someone can boxrec all of the above, because it is all very real and did happen.

sure Diaz was a Lightweight Champ .. but we can boxrec that and see that he never beat a champion to become one

for those who do not know the story Diaz was the interim WBC Champ, and became the Full champ after Joel Casamayor got stripped. making Diaz the full WBC champ

his first title defense was vs Erik Morales.

and that fight has been covered already on here so im not gonna cover it.

yet instead people try to use boxing experts opinions on calling a fight a "close" match up to use as logic when it's a blow out.

newsflash, experts have a fight to hype up. why would Dan Rafael say on ESPN or what not "oh yeah Diaz-Paquiao, total mismatch, heck Diaz was luck to get by Morales"

not exactly a good marketing move when HBO's trying to sell a PPV.

**oh don't get me started on the weigh in posts (how long is that thread going about how jacked Diaz looks?)

so ridiculous. Hey Bringer did ya see the ******* on Diaz? he'll wreck Pac-man for sure, just watch! im tellin ya man, it's all in the nips.
