I don't get why he pulled Soto off him before the knockdown. If you think it's bad enough to step in, then just stop the fight. Don't give the other guy a break. I kept thinking of that douchebag who ref'd Benn-Mclellan.

For a second he was waving off the fight and then all of sudden changed his mind and let them continue.

          I completely agree, he's incompetent.

What happened tonight was an injustice to Soto.

Cortez ****** that night, and tonight he proved it wasn't a fluke. Your attempt at sarcasm fell flat. The guy is a horse**** referee.

Cortez was behaving in the exact same way he did in the Hatton-Mayweather fight: Every time Hatton started to get a bit of momentum he would stop the action, pull them apart and let Mayweather pick Ricky off from distance again.

Pulling Soto off as he's finishing the fight and then letting them continue was a joke. He can't retire from refereeing without facing some serious questions. This is FBI ****.

he was way to strict on hatton during his fight with pbf but the outcome would still be the same even if he was loose on hatton imo.

in the sotto fight i would agree that he should retire cause the call he made was one of the top 5 bad calls of the decade

Ricky Hatton benefited from corrupt refs his whole career and you still complain with such a decisive outcome? Are you that blind to not see the gulf in class between Mayweather and Hatton?

Where did you find out about these corrupt refs? On the internet?

I bet you think Hatton was behind on the cards in the Maussa fight don't you?
