I don't understand all the Casamayor hate. Granted he looked horrible against Santa Cruz, and should've lost his title. But you can't blame him for ****ed up judges, that's boxing.

Casamayor still has something left in the tank. He did pretty damn good against Katsidis (and I was rooting for Katsidis). Countered well, landed consistently, showed a true skillset by using his craftsmanship to upset and knockout the young brawler at his own game.

I was a little disappointed in his blatant lies in the post fight interview (saying he slipped when he went through the ropes, and that Katsidis can't punch and never hurt him) but boxers talk **** all the time.

On the actual fight, I'm backing Marquez. As good as Casa is (and he's damn good, whether he gets credit for it here or not), Juan is that much better.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Joel put Juan on his ass at least once though. Marquez doesn't take it to the chin so well at times, and Joel throws with conviction.

      I wouldn't say handpicked.

But I will be the 1st to throw back in the faces of all the anti-pac Marquez nutthuggers that Marquez's most significant wins are against a shot barrera and a shot casamayor if he pulls it off

Don't know about this one, kinda get a bad feeling 'bout it. Casamayor is the bigger dude, he's fought Chico three times & Diego is huge at that weight. Could Marquez stand with Diego Corrales? I don't even wanna think about that. Marquez may be in for a rude awakening.

JMM via UD minus the foulfest. JMM usually weighs 144 come fight time on his 130 lb. bouts, he won't be giving too much advantage on who's the bigger guy here.

Plus Casa is ripe for the picking...

            Retire JMM?
JMM ain't ever going to retire. You could bury him under cement, and
he'd still be demanding yet another Pac rematch, the little ****er....LOL

It's a UD for Juanita IMO.His counter-punching skills mixed with aggression will make the old Casa look ******.He's really serious about a 3rd Pac fight.Winning this one will make Pacquiao-Marquez III more bigger.

This will be great. Hopefully Marquez can win it but I think anyone thinking it will be an easy night for Marquez is severely underestimating Casa. He still has a fight left in him and is one hell of a crafty fighter. We mustn't forget that Marquez is not exactly getting any younger and although he is not as old as Casa he has had more fights and some very brutal ones at that. Nonetheless, he looked to be in pretty good shape against Pac though he had lost a lot of his speed.

Some great fights this year. This is going to be another fantastic year. I would really love to see Marquez get the win here as he has always had a backseat to the more supposedly 'exciting' fighters and never got the fights he deserved. Still, better late than never and he is lucky enough that he hasn't had so many brutal fights like Morales that he is shot to pieces at this stage. Just hope he has enough left in the tank for one or two more great performances. So long to wait though!
