I will vote for the top one only if you say something about the chances of Vitali going through training camp.

        1. Floyd would beat Cotto and probably will retire undefeated

        2. Calzaghe would have beaten Toney and Hopkins prime for prime, probably not RJJ

        3. Agree with everything you say on Hopkins

        4. Ageree on Pacquiao

        5. Although Margarito is a threat, I think Cotto will almost certainly get a decision over him. Boo! Go Margarito!

        6. Tarver is underrated, if anything.

        7. I don't know much about Forrest

        8. Mayorga is very funny

        9. On Tua, I'll take your word for it

        10. It will take a very good HW to beat Klitschko. You are probably right he will never capture fans imaginations worldwide, but this is very unfair on him.

        11. I agree with you on Pavlik. Whether he gets beaten will depend on who he fights, but he is very beatable, yes.

However i think JC would have been more than a match for Lights Out and even given a prime RJJ a good fight, not sure he would have actually beaten a prime Roy though.
As for Kelly Pavlik, i think that yes he will probably lose his 0 within the next 12 - 18 months or so but that it will make him stronger and he will step up a division and take the belts there too.
You might be right. You're a Brit and I 'm from the states so you are in a better position to judge Joe's skills than I am.

Keep in my mind the only Calzaghe fight I saw before Lacy was the Eubank fight but I thought Eubank was past it.

The Lacy fight I saw on HBO and that's the fight that made me say , "Oh **** Joe has some skills!" Before that I didn't follow him much. The Kessler fight was a very good showing as well.

Don't get me wrong I think Joe is good and he'll be in the HOF. The problem is that even though he beat Bernard decisively (it was not a close fight B-Hop guys! B-Hop didn't do enough!) the fact that Bernard kept catching him with counters made me doubt his ability against the other greats like Roy and Toney. Roy was much better and a stronger puncher than Bernard and Toney was great at slipping punches and countering with booming right hands.

But as some of you Brits have pointed out Joe is old and no longer in his prime as well , so tough to judge.

YOU DARE SAY PAVLIK CAN EASILY BE BEATEN The definition of a one dimensional fighter is Jeff"NO HOOK"Lacy. His main game plan is to bull rush forward with is his hands down hoping to swing a wild wide hook that will knock his opponent out.Pavlik on the other hand utilizes his jab well and can also implement hooks with a variation of uppercuts in any combo his choses.Pavlik has a killer instinct that can not be duplicated by many fighters even when he is hurt he stays calm and when he sees his prey is hurt he pounces on them like a lion to a zebra.Let Calzaghe come forward that is where Pavlik is the most fearsome fighter.

Vitali will make it through training camp healthy.

Samuel Peter will hurt his hand during training camp.

The org will make Hasim Rahman interim champion.

Vitali will pull out of the fight , stating he slipped and hurt his ankle walking off the plane.

Hasim Rahman-David Tua for the interim championship.

                  zzz ZZZ zzz ZZZ zzz

When I wake up , it'll be in time to see Tua get his belt in a controversial split decision.

                    1. Floyd would probably beat Cotto but I have a feeling he'll stay fighting past his prime and lose. He has a huge ego and he loves the spotlight.

                    2. I don't know...... Hopkins ugly style will frustrate Joe. Toney has a hell of a chin and great defense.

                    6. I don't like Tarver. Sorry a little biased I'm a Roy fan. :-)

                    7. He beat Shane Mosley twice and hasn't done a thing since. Got koed by Mayorga and recently loss to a "The Contender" fighter.

                    10. Not fair but it's like that sometimes. Remember Larry Holmes? He was overshadowed by Ali's career. Wlad is following Tyson , Holyfield , Bowe , Lewis-era.

                      There's no point.

Is there anyone here that don't agree about Tye's G.O.A.T. status?

Me making a post about how great Tye is would be comparable to posting a thread "I think the Sun is very , very bright and very , very hot."
