Is this poll for real, or are you being sarcastic?

Mayweather has the better resume. Beat 2 Top P4P fighters (Hatton, Corrales). 2 wins over Jose Luis Castillo (Although 1 is very controversial), a win over Oscar De La Hoya at 154. And he has good wins at lower weights like Genaro Hernandez, Angel Manfreddy etc.

Calzaghes resume isn't bad, Lacy and Kessler were both undefeated World Champs (And yes I know Lacy wasn't good but anyway..), Hopkins might have been old but Calzaghe was up in weight and fighting a guy still ranked as the best 175 pounder. His wins over Eubank and Reid are both good as well. Along with good wins in his title run like Richie Woodhall and Byron Mitchell.

this is not even close. floyd has 5 p4p fighters on his resume, Joe has 1 and it was a 43 year old hopkins. Floyd is also a 5 division champion while Joe is a 2 division champ but once again, he took over one of the divisions by beating old man hopkins.

Lucky for Floyd, those aren't anywhere NEAR his best wins. If they were, then perhaps Calzaghe wins the resume debate.

this is a laughable thread. UK no name fighters vs Established US/Mexican/PR/Cuban tested talent. hmm I think it's pretty clear that Mayweather has fought WAAAAAYYYYY tougher competition.

                  Calzaghe demolished Lacy and Manfredo.

                  So Calzaghe it is.

as much as I like Calzaghe I have to say Floyd. Between 2000-2006 he fought some great fighters and closed out with Oscar and Ricky.

In all fairness to Joe, Lacy had more talent before he faced Calzaghe. Joe just so happened to RUIN a guy that could have been a great fighter.

                      Manfredo?
                      Are you kidding me?
                      Floyd by a mile.

Mayweather: DLH, Hatton, Luis Castillo, Corrales, Gatti, Judah, Corley, Jesus Chavez
Calzaghe: Lacy, Kessler, 43 year old Hopkins, two reality tv boxers, and uh... Eubank
The sad thing is I don't even like Mayweather.
