You mean no matter how decent and objective someone describes why Hopkins and Roy were SOME of his top wins, but had others too, some including YOU won't accept otherwise. That's called closed minded dude. I'm open to being persuaded based on decent detailed arguments and info, and you don't seem to be.
Hopkins was #1 LHW and was regarded by most as being so, out of all of the other LHW's out there young or old, per a poll on here awhile ago even aswell. Roy will be 39 and Joe 36 when they fight, yes Roys got some more mileage, but 3 years isn't massive. So that leaves the age excuses somewhat more objectively outlined.
Kessler was a great win for Joe, is undoubtedly the #2 SMW and will be #1 after Joe's retired, so pretty much is now really. He's favoured to be tight fights for Pavlik, Abraham, Tarver, Dawson, and many other elites, in polls even on here from a high % of American posters. You clearly your just dismissive and cynical on him as much as you are Joe sometimes.
Despite excuses on Lacy being overrated conveniently, he's still #5 SMW, and is favoured to do ok against Taylor all of a sudden. Plus say what you like, he was per the team and most people in and outside of boxing, un-expectedly completely given a boxing lesson by Calzaghe like few other fights in the past.
Eubank may have been a little past his prime but for a young in-experienced Calzaghe to put him down with his first punch when Nigel Benn couldn't in 2 fights, and win a clear UD over 12 rounds when never going past 8 before, is impressive. Beating clearly top 10 SMW's in Sheika, Woodhall, Veit, Reid, and Brewer are also pretty decent wins, considering also the complete one sidedness Joe beat most of them in.
