LOL, the predictable back up of Roys age, only a couple of digits higher than Joes own age. Look I've said unlike some, that I give Roy a great chance at winning this fight I really do. I think Joe has a tendency to not plan an effective style to overcome his opponent, and only does so post round 4ish (true of Kessler and Hops).
He can't afford to do that with Roy, whom is speed and tactically superior, and a hustler. Joe would find himself a few rounds down, and Roys stamina is still decent. He won't fade a little like Hops because of a high pace, and he won't not have a plan B like Kessler didn't, so he can't rely on winning most later rounds either.
If Roy wins surely some Roy fans, or just American fans, and others, should get some stick for not backing their man enough to overcome and find a win to win yet again, I mean how low is that?Comment

i won't say anything, i'll jump up and down, scream, laugh, cry, run around in circles, do jump kicks, etc....
it will be a huge upset, but won't quite rank up their with the buster douglas/tyson's because of Roy's history as the fighter of the decade in the 90's, an olympic "silver medalist", champion at 8 weight divisions, etc.
the media (mainstream press, not just dan rafael, dougie fisher and the boxing critics) will have no problem elevated Roy's celebrity as one of the greatest of all time.
After the fight, I will be torn on whether or not Roy should retire, or fight on 1 or 2 more times....Comment
