If Roy beats Calzaghe........

Oh i'd love to see him defeat glen johnson, but I have a feeling people won't even remember jones being ko'ed towards the end of his career. This is in 20 years or so. I mean who really talks about leonard getting beat up by norris and ko'ed by camacho. Well I guess the leonard haters so I guess the RJJ haters will to. He's already established himself the best of this era and possibly the most talented and naturally gifted athlete ever.Comment

yeah thats what people dont know...... got clipped by a no look punch, then fought 4 months later... and all that after coming down from heavyweight...
people say he was exposed... get the **** outta here... the man is a HUMAN BEING... he had just taken FLUSH right hands from a 235 pound heavyweight, and now he has a glass chin?
The weight drop was huge for him... and because at 198 lbs, he was pure muscle.... in order to get to 174, u need to drain all water and muscle off your body, and then compete at the highest level... he barely made it out of the first tarver fight... and then your body is going to re adjust back up to where you were at at 195, all that water is gonna come back... then u gata do it again...
it takes a long time for a 35 year old body to re adjust back down to 175...
id rather be an in shape 39 year old, than a completely dehydrated and drained 35 yr old...Comment

Exactly, Tarver and Johnson got their 15 minutes of fame, and thats about it. Both are decent fighters, not comparable to Roy Jones though.Comment

i agree roy the best fighter of the last 20 years in my opinion. hed already cemented his legacy wen he lost to tarver and johnsonComment

Yep, He stamped his legacy with the win over ruiz and then coming back down and defeated tarver is a very gutzy performance. Those last 2 rounds give me chills. However Beating calzaghe will boost him even more. If not, it'll at least silence some more haters and calzaghe fans.Comment

If he wins he shoots up to one of the greatest fighters to ever exist accomplishment wise as well as skill wise.Comment
