I will say Calzaghe is the most overhyped fighter in the last 20 years if not more

...I agree...if you can't hurt RJJ, there's no reason for him to be gun shy...

Wrong dude, you just have to be protected like Joe has been, in those 45 wins he has fought a total of 3 or 4 good fighters at most. The win against Kessler was his best win, and he would NEVER give Kessler another shot, because he couldn't beat him twice.

Calzaghe likes to claim he is the best - but to believe that, you have to ignore the fact that he has fought "never could be" fighters throughout 98% of his career. Forget even saying "World Class Level" when refering to Calzaghes' career.

I don't care if a fighter has a record of 100-0, if he fights 95 bums to get there it doesn't mean crap...

Good point, I think Roys gona do way more research on Calzaghe, really tweak a good game plan, way better than Joe's if I'm honest. Quite likely Roy will win the first few rounds while Joe usually does his adjusting (wish he'd plan more) and Calzaghe will run away with it rounds 5 onwards, if he's on the ball, adapts and isn't too out hustled. I'd probably bet on Roy winning rounds more earlier on actually.

Both Roy and Calzaghe are very unorthodox fighters BUT Roy chokes when he's fighting an unconventional fighter, Roy would do well against Kessler and his likes, but Calzaghe?! Noway, it's a bad match-up.
Expect a comfortable UD, maybe a late round stoppage with Roy laying on the ropes, not answering back...
So then why is Calzaghe fighting him then?
