      I agree with the OP.

If he lost his desire or feels that his body is breaking down and decided to retire on top with a lot of money, then I'm happy for him because a lot of fighters don't get the chance to do so.

But as a boxing fan, I would have liked to see him fight the top guys at 147 before retiring.

        that's a great one.

too bad it'll be lost on most of these guys that don't really follow boxing history.

        still lmao.

Pretty funny when a 185 lber get flack for beating one of the best LHWs in history, Ezzard Charles. What weight do you think Marciano would be fighting to day? Ding, ding, ding, you guessed it, LHW.

Or cruiserweight because he actually cut weight to get down to 185-190.

Why is that? I see no reason to think he wouldn't fight at HW if he was around today.

                different era jim.

there was very little weight cutting/draining back then.

lightweights now would be middleweights then.

besides you don't agree that rocky's best fights were against light heavyweights?

light heavies and heavies fought all the time back then , one of joe louis' most memorable fight was againt conn.

who's to say rocky doesn't look like tyson or the young tua.
