funny. these idiots would start fights at clubs and throw chairs and bottles but don't want to go at it with pro gloves with headgear on!!! pusses.

YOu get hit hard flush, ur getting knocked out. Ur not getting buzzed and then recovering 10 seconds later and recieving more of a beating. U get KO'd, which is a LOOOOOOOOT safer and anyone who knows what they are talking about would agree
        correct!!!

all those dumbies that say having smaller gloves= more brain damage really should shut the *** up, and do some research before they open their mouth

nahh i think the gloves sizes they have now are okay...although maybe a step back to the glove sizes in the days of ali and robinson would be better, i cant really be sure but boxing is not a sport you can afford to **** around in, a fighters safety is ALWAYS the first priority. so whatever is safer for the fighters, some quality, in depth research needs to be done

In boxing with smaller gloves Bones can be broken on the face easier think Jack Dempsey-Willard, I guess the padding also provides more protection from long term brain damage.

MMA fighters flail wildly and usually only 6-7 punches land an entire fight, boxers land much much more. 400 4oz punches could cause brain damage and did back in the day.

To keep boxing a sport rather than a deathmatch, the gloves need to be regulated accordingly. Also in UFC and all those, once your knocked down and hurt it's pretty much over, where as boxing gives you the chance to get back up, increasing your chance of further damage since a knockdown usually causes minor bleeding on the brain.

u are really saying that smaller gloves doesnt mean more cuts, more hands injuries etc? i agree that being knocked out early is better for your brain than being pounded for ages....but there is a reason why they changed the gloves weight right?and it wasnt to dissapoint u and Kball....look this is a sport, not a brave/macho contest...knockouts must not be the target in a fight. BTW i say the same that i said to Kball if u wanna see knockouts go watch ufc.

When u are hit with 8 oz gloves with hard handwrap its not funny at all, and im a lightweight. Fighters safe must be the first care, if its not your main care because you wanna see us get KTFO in every match...me cago en tu puta madre hijo deputa, go **** yourself!

BTW LMAO with the Wlad owns post.....

hahhaha lol good one...i dont intercede when they fight at clubs...if they are that brave lets see how they care for themselves, unless "special situations"and they always ask and my response is:"u wanna see me pay a lot of money because u drink too much?stfu or i will beat your ass"....anyway i dont think its fair to beat up some drunk morons in a club...even less if u consider its funny when someone backs u up, but u crap ur pants if u are 1 to 1 with someone bigger/stronger etc.

                      wladowns is funny.

he'll go to a thread about featherweights and be like , "i don't like watching the midgets. i can't watch boxers smaller than my girlfriend."

then he'll add some **** like......

"wlad is as skilled as joan guzman" or "wlad has the heart of erik morales" or some other **** like that just to add wlad klit's name into his post.

the guy is hilarious. at least he's loyal to his fighter.
