    BOXING NeeeeeeeeeDs Smaller GLOVES!!!!

The gloves are getting bigger and bigger, and its getting REDICULOUS.

Big gloves suck all the drama out of the ring.

    Andre Bertos gloves were huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge.

If he were wearing much smaller gloves, you have an exciting and early KO instead of a boring fight and then an exciting KO.

I mean seriously, look at the supermiddleweights. The gloves for that weight class are huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge.

Answer me this though. How can MMA have 4 ounce gloves, have that be perfectly legal in Vegas, but Boxing struggles for years to get 8 ounce gloves approved??????

Where the **** is the sense?

Seriously. The biggest gloves anybody in boxing should be wearing, are 10 ounce and that should be heavyweights and maybe cruiserweights ONLY.

Berto was wearing standard sized gloves, Grants look bigger because of the padding.

There's more chance of fighters getting seriously hurt if they wear smaller gloves, I'm against it.

i never said 4 ounce gloves, thats waaaaaaay to small. but 10 ounce gloves on welterweights and jr. welterweights equal boooooooring.

Its not even boxing anymore. Back in the hayday they wore even smaller gloves then MMA. It was the hayday for a reason. Lots more KO's, Lots more drama, and Looooots more fans

No they don't. If you box you should know that even 10 ounce gloves hurt like a mother if you get hit good. With 8 ounce gloves we would have more brain damage and fighters retireing earlier. 4 ounce gloves in boxing would be suicide, if anyone wen't a full 12 rounds with 4 ounce gloves they would be ****ed after only one fight.

It's because Brain Damage is much easier to recieve in Boxing than in MMA because in MMA you mainly sustain short term damage like cuts, bruises, Broken bones.

In boxing with smaller gloves Bones can be broken on the face easier think Jack Dempsey-Willard, I guess the padding also provides more protection from long term brain damage.

boxers punch harder than MMa fighters

MMA fighters flail wildly and usually only 6-7 punches land an entire fight, boxers land much much more. 400 4oz punches could cause brain damage and did back in the day.
