All the more reason the fight should have been stopped when it was, his head was being rocked. Yeah deserved a chance but the rules say you should defend yourself at all times and in that round he wasn't.

OK you obviously didn't see the fight, the last three punches he landed rocked his head back, he was just standing taking it.

It could possibly have gone on for another few seconds like that but he needed to stop it. Fighters like Gomez are very romantic and are just like Rocky but in real life he's risking his brain. Just my opinion.

Gomez has a great chin, Please watch his fight against Carl joh he took alot of more headshot without going down..the ref had to stop that fight also..khan should have gone more to the body.

The stoppage was fair IMO, Gomez was taking way too much punishment and the way he comes forward, he would carry on till he was literally brain died from the flurries from Khan.

Khan needs to improve on the inside, he leaves him self open to damage. The knockdown was flash, but it leaves question marks over his chin and defense. He needs to get it on with a yank trainer and quick, Uncle Roger maybe?

Khan's hand speed by the way is frightening, 5 punch combos in the blink of an eyelid, **** knows how Gomez lasted that long? He showed great heart.

Khan is at least 3-4 fights away from a world title fight, and what's the rush? Time is on Khan's side.
