Gomez was in those kind of situations but came back all the time, it was questionable but i'm happy he won. It was a good test, he still needs to improve that defence.

That was tough, and Gomez isnt anywhere near ranked at that weight. To me, this leaves questions about Khan.

He looked sharp but was dropped and hurt....He isn't ready for a world title shot imo..

Saying that though, I think Khan showed good heart. He does panic when he gets in trouble, but experience will help him with that.

He's not ready for the top tier fighters in his division, but he's still young.

That stoppage was fine. 10 seconds early maybe but thats it. Gomez was taking too many hard clean shots and hadnt been returning with enough for over a round. Wasnt moving his head at all, wasnt pushing forward anymore.

Yeah he took like 100 punches...Seriously it was like target practice, the bodyshot certainly helped, I would like Khan to team up with Roger Mayweather to improve that Defense, and maybe throw more bodyshots in future. He has the tools, he is very quick with his flurries/combos, he just needs a trainer to sharpen his tools.

Gomez went down before in the fight and knocked down Khan after so why not give him a chance, he may have done it again.
