i thought floyd was all about waiting to mke bigger fights. he tells margarito to wait so that the fight will be bigger down the line, but he wanted to fight cotto 2 years ago? who was bigger at that time, Cotto or Margo? why would he want to fight Cotto over Margo anyway at that time? and why doesnt Floyd want to fight Cotto now?

Cotto was still growing as a fighter so i can understand them not wanting to risk that fight so soon. Arum wanted that fight, not evangelista cotto. Cotto was a man with i think 5 defense at the time, but still growing. As far as margs, Margs called out floyd who had not yet even fought at 147, and margs was at welter. Arum knew floyd was leaving, so he tried to get floyd to fight margs, and Arum knew floyd was leaving him. Arum admits floyd did not even have to fight him, but he said margs had a title(wbo) and that floyd was scared of margs. That is floyd's promotor saying this about his own fighter. This kind of stuff is why floyd left arum. Arum did not act in the best interest of floyd. Floyd thought arum tried to get him beat by fighting a guy who was a full fledged welter when floyd just got finished beating gatti at 140. Arum also said shane and dlh were scared of margs. lol Picture floyd, shane, and dlh scared of margs. And margs gets beat by williams.
