And i hate how people say real fights end up on the ground, because the worst street fights ive ever seen are the ones that end up on the ground
How many street fights have you seen where 1 guy gets knocked to the ground but still fully conscious. There is no ref to call a 10 count. Do you let the guy rest until he's fresh or go and try to finish him while he's down??

I never said it was not physically demanding. Have no idea where you got that.

Actually I think someone with respect for themselves would not jump on someone after knocking them halfway unconsious and keep beating them in the head.

I'm talking about just your average fight. Not talking about a fight that comes along with something like a guy beating someone that ****d his sister or something like that. In a fight like that I doubt it would be a fist fight anyways, more like baseball bat.

I'm pretty sure that if you hit someone hard enough that they fall and cant get up then there really is no reason to keep beating on them, unless you want prison time or to pay more doctor bills than you already will.

Streetfighting is ****** anyways. Have a problem with someone? Why try to solve it through words? Beat them senseless and that'll show em who is right!!!!

I was speaking in a boxing vs mma sense. Even in boxing very rarely do fights end on 1 kd. The norm even 4 boxing lately has been the guy that lands on his ass 1st gets back up and wins the fight. Now take the ref out of the equation of lets say Pavlik and Taylor's 1st fight or Vasquez and Marquez's 3rd and theres difficult choices to be made during those knockdowns. Thats how streetfights end up on the ground and thats what mma attempts to emulate

i hate these mma vs. boxing subjects.

i'm a big fan of boxing and brazilian jiu-jitsu.

mma and boxing is not the same thing.

you do realize that joe rogan is just trying to stir up controversy and getting publicity for mma......

it's like a up and coming boxer publicly challenging a champion to get his name out there and get some publicity.

the 2 sports have and can coexist. no need for these mma vs. boxing threads.

it's like a detroit pistons vs. detroit red wings thread on a nba forum.
