No, you can't duck someone who does not/is not willing to fight in your weight class.

If he turns kesler down, than he is a coward according to the same fans who called 40Cal a coward for telling Pav to pad his resume. Pav hasn't even faced
      Abraham.

No because Kessler and Pavlik haven't been in negotiations. Kessler just said he'd be willing to fight him. It's different then someone calling someone out, Kelly and Joe were actually at the table negotiating and then Calzaghe said "Nah, I'll go with Roy insted."

It isn't like Mayweather-Margarito where Margarito wasn't proven. Kelly acutally has some very good wins.

Anyway, I don't think Joe is ducking Kelly, but it can be known as a "duck" since they were actually negotiating. Same with Kessler and Miranda except Miranda was a bit more like Mayweather-Margarito, except Mayweather had better options then what Kessler had.

You are half right, the WORLD does not revolve around America, but BOXING does.

Personaly, I doubt if a Kessler would get past a Miranda, or a Taylor at this point, but that said, what does Kessler bring to the ring that Pavlik hasn't already seen and defeated ?? Nothing....

Has he signed it? I think that's what Rubio said, but I don't think that was ever confirmed that Pavlik has actually signed it. If Pavlik was in negotiations with Rubio becuase he was also in negotiations with Calzaghe according to Arum.

Pav and 40Cal were never at the negotiating table. Their promoters are good friends, and agreed that it comes down to Cal. Cal had the last word.

Kessler is saying the same thing about Pav. That is why he asked to fight Pav. Who has Pav beaten that was decent? JT?
