On the ropes RJJ can throw 3 or 4 uppercuts mixed with a hook ALL WITH THE SAME HAND. I mean this OLD WASHED UP PUNCH DRUNK boxer can keep up with slappy. BUT if the fight is in Wales watch for the Ref. to stop it early. I think Joe has 4? KO's the rest are TKO's. I understand TKO's are brought on by 1 fighter not fighting back, or just not in the fight. RJJ has normaly fought bigger fighters, Joe is right on his level. Straight right hands all day!!! Joe could taste defeat.

You think roy is trying to make this fight because he thinks joe is too good? or because he cant beat him?

roy sees something, and hes chasing it, big time.
      Yep, roy can see these:

      $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

If he doesn't fight Joe, who else is a big enough name for him to get paid? (who is willing to fight him and hasn't already knocked him out)

Exactly, he didn't want the fight before and I doubt he wants it now TBH, he just wants to get paid.

Jones needs to tie him up then walk him back so he is back in range to counter punch
i thoguht the hanshaw fight was an excellent fight..

people dont like that fight cuz they wanna see the roy that bounces around the ring peppering his opponent at lightning fast speeds

the roy hanshaw fight is an exact example of how ali fiught joe to a point... covering covering covering, then counter counter... block block roll... then counter counter..

its the first time ive seen him do it VERY well... roy was blocking a LOT of the punches coming in, and EVERY SINGLE counter he threw back landed crisply...

          That's what Hopkins said.

Hopkins probably has a better right hand than Roy, and he landed only one of any significance.

          Plus Roy can't fight southpaws...

it doesnt matter what i think or say, roys gonna do his own thing obviously.. I peronsally feel roy will better off on the ropes.. but i know roy will fight in the center of the ring as well...

contrary to people saying how will roy deal with joes speed

id like to know how joe will deal with the fastest punches hes ever had coming at him in his career... cuz bernard sure fared well, and his punches arent close to the speed or power or accuracy of roys... STILL.
Calzaghe is not exceptionally quick IMO

id say James Toney was as quick as Joe back in his middleweight days

Joe does not extend his arms when he punches thats why people get the impression he is quicker than he actually is

thats the way i see it anyway

no. hes not chasing it for the money... roys the draw in this fight not joe calzaghe... the tito fight was MONEY... this is legacy... obviously money is involved... but ill be surprised if this fight breaks the ppv record of roy vs tito...

bernard vs joe wasnt even on PPV.... roy isnt chasing joe for money... although it might be the other way around

CalSLAPPY is the biggest ***** around...

To turn down a fight with a real fighter is the weakest **** i ever heard...No wonder Slappy still gets no respect out here. The Hopkins fight was wack(should've been at least a Draw, even though i had Hopkins winning by a point). But now, he's turning down a legit threat to his crown and instead chooses to fight a washed up Jones in his backyard....i call bull****. At least have the balls to fight Dawson, Johnson, Tarver if you're scared of The Ghost...****in *****

I suppose Joe does it for the glory? Joe wants a payday just as much as Roy does.
