Good news for Tua fans: Tua has a scheduled bout July 17 in Ukraine, of all places against an opponent TBA. Hope he finds someone decent...

      it's olga klitschko......wlad and vitali's sister.

she doesn't have much power but she's 6'5 , 240 and she has a 81 inch reach. good tuneup for david.

Roman Greenberg is fighting on the same card. Neither have an opponent yet, so why not have them fight one another?

I remember watching Greenberg fight a few years ago and it being predicted that he'd be challenging for a title before long. Instead the only name I've heard of on his record is Julius Francis, who was in the middle of a 79 fight losing streak when they met.

Sam Peter still doesn't have an opponent for next month. Maybe if Tua offered to sell his soul to Frank Warren he could get the fight.

those that want to fight him are too much risk and not enough reward.

he was fighting tomato cans to just stay busy and stay in shape but i don't know what happened. he fought a bunch of fights recently to get back in shape but he hasn't been able to get a fight the past year.

too bad. waste of a career. if he had signed with don or arum he would've had a belt already.

i hope he gets 1 or 2 fights with some big names or young up and comers like haye. he'll lose but he deserves a nice paycheck before retiring.
tua turned down a fight with brewster before brew fought wlad in there 2nd fight. if anyone has been avoiding the bigger names its tua

i wasn't talking about bigger names as in talent but money. lamon was a good solid fighter but he hardly had the following as say even golota who draws crowds in chicago because of his polish background.

at the time lamon was considered top 10 in the world and i doubt david was in any position to be able to beat him. david is a shell of his former self now and he was even in worse shape back then.

i think the lamon talk of a tua fight was before his loss to lyakhovich. i could be mistaken though. tua barely started fighting again in 2005 after a 2 year layoff. we all saw how awful he looked during his first fights back. fighting lamon at the time would've been bad news for tua.

i think tua's managers thought the best way to get back into the game was a bunch of ko's against a bunch of tomato cans to get david's name back out there. another boring tough fight with a top guy , like rahman 2003 , wouldn't have created a buzz around tua's name like a bunch of ko's would have.
