He probably would but when he did get his chance against Lewis, he didn't really look like he wanted to fight.

he was too fat and out of shape.

he tried to make it a fight at first but was too slow and tired.

tua's a tough guy and has a lot of heart but eating 2-3 jabs and a right from a lennox lewis everytime you try to come in can make anybody wary.

he was in his prime at a bad time when lewis was king and everybody can get bigger money fights with holy and mike.

sad that the 3 guys he koed (rahman , ruiz , maskaev) all became champs AFTER he beat them.

prime tua (215-220 lbs.) would've beat byrd imo. he was not as fat against byrd but 233 is still too heavy for a 5'10 guy and his skills were already eroded by the time they met.

he probably would've lost to only the klitschko sisters in this era. prime tua would've beat all the lyakhovich's , chagaev's and ibragimov's.

ibeabuchi. a very good fighter who's name has reached mythical status almost because of "what could've been?" after being the only person to beat both tua and byrd.

byrd. one of the most skilled heavies of this era and ibf champion for a while.

lewis. one of the atg heavyweights and probably top ten all time.

not bad company for haye to be in.......

he had the flu and he was dizzy before getting in the ring when he fought purrity.

they accidently massaged wlads leg before the sanders fight and his legs were weak like hearns when he fought hagler.

and when he fought lamon , wlad was covered in vaseline which meant his pores couldn't breath when he sweat which cause his weakness.
