David Haye: "I'll Fight Peter if Klitschko Backs Down"

Haye has not had one fight as a heavyweight and many of you are saying he is going to walk through the heavyweight division which is absurd. Suspend your judgement and wait to see how he looks in a couple fights. Based on what I have seen in Hayes crusierweight fights, I can't possibly see him surviving 12 rounds against Peter.

I thought he was talking about Vitali backing out of the Peter fight. Haye is out of his ever loving mind if he thinks Wlad owes him a title shot right now. Evander Holyfield had 6 fights at HW before he got a title shot.

Different times. Please don't compare. Today Joe Calzaghe comes out of nowhere to land a fight with a 43 year old used to be good fighter and is p4p and Ring champion. In his first fight. Gomez fights Cotto straight (almost) out of the contender... So get ready for these kinds of "deals", they will happen allot.
Btw i prefer seeing Haye Vs Klitschko than any of these other guys who don't even seem to want to fight him in the first place.

Haye is willing to fight anyone. I'll give him that. He needs to be careful with Peter though and not get caught. He needs to build up something of a HW resume if he wants a shot at Wlad though. When and if he gets that chance, I'll have to go with Wlad though, but Haye's good for the sport. He definitely adds excitement.

We will see how serious Haye is, i guarantee you if Klitschko offered him a fight right now he would turn it down and say it wasnt enough money no matter how much the offer was for.

stuff like this makes me feel embarrased to have haye on my favorites list. I don't mind the talking if he actually fights and beats a top heavyweight. I do believe that he will have a successful heavyweight career but he needs to not disrespect the top hw's. talking is easy, he has to atleast fight someone before he can be ALLOWED to trash talk.

I feel bad for wlad cuz he has earned the top spot by fighting in the hw division for years and here comes along this guy who has no significant hw fights and starts irritating him. there are gonna be ppl out there that are gonna think that wlad is ducking haye and wlad is crap and all that just cuz of this. remember, only if haye wins some significant fights and becomes #1 contender, can you consider this ducking.

I like Haye. He's exactly what the HW division needs. He's outspoken, but is also willing to back up his talk.
